Clinical Trials

Treating cancer is a continually evolving process. Newer chemotherapeutic and targeted agents have radically changed the way we treat our cancer patients today compared with the way things were done as little as 10 years ago. We encourage our patients to participate in clinical trials so that they may receive state-of-the-art treatments. Based on our affiliation with both Abington Memorial Hospital and Holy Redeemer Hospital, we participate in many cooperative group trials such as those from ECOG, RTOG and the University of Pennsylvania. We also have industry-sponsored trials that are in progress with the help of individual pharmaceutical companies.
